J. Reid Maxwell has been L-D of the Simon Fraser University Pipe Band since 1992 and he's won the World Pipe Band Championships and World Drum Corps Championships several times over. He has a lasting legacy of teaching and drum corps development over his years in the SFU and RMM programs, and also made history kleading the 78th Fraser Highlanders to their World Championship and WDC Championship in 1987, as well as winning it as a player in the Dysart and Dunsdonald Pipe Band.
These sticks are designed by Reid, produced by Andante, and won the 2022 World Drum Corp Championship with Reid's SFU corps.
