McCallum Bore Oil is developed especially for maintaining the wood in bagpipes and all Blackwood woodwind musical instruments. Each bottle contains 63ml of acid-free Silicone-based oil manufactured for McCallum Bagpipes by La Tromba in Switzerland.

La Tromba woodwind oil impregnates the bore of the instrument. It effectively prevents the extraction of natural oils from the wood, caused by condensation. At the same time, it reduces the risk of cracks. When applied to the tenons it minimises swelling caused through moisture. La Tromba woodwind oil effectively increases the lifespan of the instrument.
